About the Maker
I’ve always been a candle lover with a strong belief in aroma therapy and it’s power to raise the vibe in any space. That being said, I felt some of the big box store candles were just completely missing the mark… Greenwashing covered up what was really a toxic product; harmful to both myself and my animals. So after enrolling in a course to become a certified candle maker, I began my quest to create premium candles & wax melts with pure, natural ingredients that are ethically sourced and sustainable!
Diving right in I started exploring all the different methods of candle creation, finding that I enjoyed the flexibility in using different waxes, vessels, additives, and molds to create many different styles both new and old! It kept me and my customers excited, and so I decided to open up my business to make it more custom work inclined. Slowly but surely my portfolio grew, and now I can confidently offer a wide variety of candle making services tailored to my clients needs. Be it an intentional crystal candle or melt, a delicious and decorative dessert candle, center pieces for your big event, or a 100% natural and hypoallergenic pillar candle for that one friend who’s sensitive – I’m your maker!

How is beeswax beneficial?
Beeswax has a wide range of uses – from the honeycomb to cosmetics, pharmaceuticals to foods, and of course: candle making! Beeswax candles are dense and have high melting points which extends the burn time and creates less soot; plus they’re all natural and actually pull toxins from the air (unlike paraffin candles – which fill spaces with soot and dangerous carcinogens). This means you get a cleaner burning and longer lasting candle – good for your health and your pockets! Beeswax is also hypoallergenic, meaning it’s a great option for those who are allergic or sensitive to scents, but still want a scented candle experience. Pure beeswax truly smells AMAZING – it is sweet, earthy, and intoxicating. None of this is new information however; humans have been taking advantage of these benefits for nearly a thousand years!
How long do soy candles last?
The burn time of a candle is not only determined by the type of wax, but also it’s vessel, shape, and size. That being said, my 8oz soy container candles last 22+ hours if properly cared for (see candle care & safety sheet)
Why are hand-poured candles more expensive?
On average it takes 5-10 minutes just to wick ONE candle by hand; compared to an automatic wicking machine that does hundreds in the same amount of time. On top of that the candles have to be melted, mixed, poured & resurfaced/embellished by hand. Start to finish, the process takes DAYS. These prices also reflect the quality of product and materials used. Our soy candles are made with a natural Coco-Soy blend, as well as high quality essential and fragrance oils that are tested using “state-of-the-art gas chromatography” to verify their purity. The Beeswax used is 100% pure natural golden beeswax, which we source locally to support our community and their bee keeping efforts! These candles are a labor of love – not only for candle making but for the planet. The products have been carefully curated to be clean for us and the environment, and as such the cost of production is higher… but so are our scent throws!
